Frey's Syndrome

The skin above the parotid gland is innervated by sympathetic nerves.

The parotid gland has parasympathetic innervation (auriculotemporal nerve)
Parasympathetic fibers extend to the skin after parotid surgery, can innervate the skin
In this case, sweating and redness occur on the skin during meals.
This is called Frey's syndrome.
